He should get all of his military records, including the ones for his injuries, his medal papers, his discharge records, etc.. Have them copied and bound, and give them to all the white house press reporters.. Let them see what military records SHOULD look like..

Lot's of these folks were not vets or were not old enough to serve back then.. They need to see the comparison..close up..

a flimsy blurred copy of "something" (hastily produced) versus, a complete dossier of service to country..

That would speak volumes, and he could present it to them as a "service" to save them the trouble of searching, and to indicate that HE has nothing to hide about his service...

The one catch-22 with all military records is that they tend to have Social Security #'s all over the place (including your boss's) since that is your primary unique ID (dumb as that is) when you are in the military so they have to have many blackout smears.

And civilians should know that evaluations in the military tend to be somewhat "glowing" since anything other than glowing tends to be a career ender.
