Official TENNESSEE results thread
In order to help everyone keep track of the returns tonight, please post all updates in this official thread. Please do not start a bunch of other results threads, as they will just make people confused.

INSTRUCTIONS

Please put the most important information from each update in the SUBJECT LINE of your post, so the returns are easy to follow. Include the percent of precincts reporting, followed by the first three or four candidates in order. Kinda like this:

00% reporting - Candidate A 00%, Candidate B 00%, Candidate C 00%, Candidate D 00%

This thread is for results ONLY. Please avoid unnecessary discussion in this thread.

Oh, and in case anyone forgot, there's a fund drive this week...

6. Don't despair too long....
I feel your pain, I really do. I think a Clark/Edwards or Edwards/Clark ticket would have been a winner.

But....we need to stop Kerry... join the Edwards campaign for March 2nd. Edwards' strong 2nd place finish will allow him to stay in the race until March 2. Help us make a stand and stop the Kerry train wreck that will get wiped out by Bush in November.

Edwards is the only candidate left who can defeat Bush.

Clark would have been a good nominee, but he has to realize that it is over now.

Thanks for your efforts General.... now please help out the Edwards campaign.

5. Tequila.
Por favor.

We worked our butts off down here and even the local news just said something to the effect of, "Can a Southern Senator or a General beat a Vietnam war hero? Stay tuned!"

Like Clark wasn't a Vietnam war hero? Oooooookay.

22. Now THAT is sad. Just when you thought the media could not sink lower.
Honestly this is what passes for "journalism" these days. Talking friggin mannequins who can't speak coherently let alone do a modicum of basic fundamental research that a high school newspaper columnist is capable of. Yet, of course, they wield tremendous influence over public opinion. In the runup to the November election, these type of omissions and distortions of the facts need to be corrected whenever and wherever they happen lest they take root and be accepted as gospel.

voters follow the election:

Lieberman 2854
Braun 2161
Kucinich 2025
Gephardt 1258

Kucinich losing to two candidates that are not even running, at least most of the Gephardt supporters figured it out by now.

50. Early voting began on the 21st of Jan
After both Gephardt and Braun were out of the race. I guess Lieberman's support could be based on early voting, but as he was on the ballot my guess is a lot of people just did not know he was out yet.
