Clinton will make first campaign trip to New Hampshire on same day Obama announces in Springfield
AP: Clinton, Obama fight for media coverage
Fri Feb 2

WASHINGTON - Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton will make her first trip to New Hampshire as a presidential candidate on Feb. 10, the same day Democratic rival Sen. Barack Obama formally announces his candidacy.

Clinton had been scheduled to visit New Hampshire on Saturday and Sunday but canceled the trip because her husband's stepfather, Dick Kelley, was ill. Kelley, 91, died Wednesday in Arkansas.

Her decision to schedule the trip for the following weekend sets up a fierce fight for media coverage by two of the leading candidates for the Democratic presidential nomination. While Clinton will be in New Hampshire, Obama will make his announcement in Springfield, Ill., then head to Iowa.

1. Since she has been on the front page for 2 weeks I'm guessing Obama wins out.
the media is going to want to see his announcement and his speech. They are going to want to see the energy.
My guess is they choose the new and exciting over the old and tired.
