Target Repubs up for '08 elections |
|
When I watch these shows like Hardball, Meet the Press and the CNN shows, and if the subject is 'Iraq', it's always the same people who we already know. I would like to know who is running in the Senate in '08, and have them defend their positions on staying in Iraq. The spotlight needs to be on them more to make them vulnerable, and accountable. If the Democratic party wants to get anything done, it seems they need sixty votes in the Senate, and they are falling short. So maybe we can research that, and talk it up on those blog sites where we go.

They should work to get those Repubs in a coalition. If they refuse, they should be targeted in 2008. Hardball politics.

2. force these Reps to make unpopular votes.... |
|
...such as voting against cloture on a filibuster of the nonbinding Iraq resolution. Don't back down and make another compromise. If they are foolish enough to filibuster, let them go on record for doing so and take it to the 08 elections as an issue against them. BRING IT ON!
