1. Cool!
How does an article become "featured" like that? Random, or is there a system of some kind?

2. An article gets featured by being well written, well documented, and thorough
After that, they're submitted to a committee of Wiki editors who vet the sundry submissions to see which ones meet "wiki standards" (not an oxymoron, by the way) for quality of compilation and scholarship. Then they go on a calendar, which is booked about two weeks in advance.

4. Here's the article for those who don't/can't get it.

This is a good TALKING POINT article to print out and study as it's concise and explains why Clark would be a good choice for president and all his attributes.

Today's featured article

Wesley Clark is a retired four-star general in the U.S. Army. He spent thirty-four years in the Army and the Department of Defense, receiving many military decorations, several honorary knighthoods, and a Presidential Medal of Freedom. Clark was valedictorian of his class at West Point, was awarded a Rhodes Scholarship to Oxford University where he earned a master's degree in Economics, and later graduated from the Command and General Staff College with a master's degree in military science. Clark commanded Operation Allied Force in the Kosovo War during his term as the Supreme Allied Commander Europe of NATO from 1997 to 2000. Clark joined the 2004 race for the Democratic Party presidential nomination as a drafted candidate on September 17, 2003, but withdrew from the primary race on February 11, 2004, in favor of campaigning for the eventual Democratic nominee, John Kerry. 6. Now it's a man in a speedo
You can access the Wes Clark in the previously featured link at the bottom of the new featured article. Interestingly, the feature before Clark was "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction". Write your own joke.

8. They sold Ike as "The Man from Abeline" and Big Dog as "The Man from Hope"
I just don't see Clark being marketed as "The Man in a Speedo".
