Spare us the "flawless" nonsense... that's why she's slipping in IA AND NH? Because she's "flawless"...

The voters have seen through her and she's slip sliding away...

1. I'm not a Hillary supporter but it's important to remember that
1) these early polls are not set in stone, otherwise we would have President Dean. and 2) John Edwards is gaining but he has also come off of a couple of weeks of positive press coverage and public sympathy. 3) Hillary is leading in NH polls, despite that and is still very competitive in Iowa.

4. Well isn't it interesting that as soon as Vilsack puts his support for her she starts to slide...
the bottom line is people in NH. and Iowa hate to be told who to vote for thats whats going on hear.

18. Vilsack was throwing his support to her before he or she entered the race, so

it's not like it was a surprise to anyone.

I just wish I could figure out where Hillary stands on the issues. Maybe the voters in NH and Iowa feel the same.

Let's see, I know she favors;

A strong economy

A strong military

Affordable health care

A clean, healthy environment

Winning the war on drugs

Winning in Iraq (should be modified now to saving face in Iraq)

Strong families and strong communitites

Mom and apple pie.
********* ******** ********
Of course so do almost all the candidates.

But where does she stand on the issues?

25. So what your saying is that endorsements, in general
have the reverse of the effect that they're intended to have? Methinks candidates wouldn't be so interested in them if that were the case!

The fact is, when Hillary entered the race, she was running 4th place in Iowa polls. Today, she's running a very solid second. The big story here isn't that Hillary's slipping, it's that Edwards is gaining, while both Hillary and Barack are losing a little bit of ground.

8. And she's "flawlessly" ahead in all California (early primary) polls.
New York and California both will be early primary states next year and she's far, far ahead in both of those motherlode states.

She's not my candidate, but she's ahead where it is important to be so.

9. No it was a deliberate parody of another original post
where someone claimed in the title that Hillary's campaign is "flawless" so let's pick her Veep. That is about like saying the Iraq war is going well so let's plan a parade.

13. Good. Then Obama will take over.
At least Obama never co-sponsored the Iraq War Resolution like Edwards did.

16. Waahh... Edwards moved up, Hillary moved down a lot, Obama moved down a little...
That was 4 years ago. TWO years ago, he apologized for it. Obama never voted EITHER WAY because he wasn't there.

Let me know when Obama gets to vote on something important...

12. If only this competeition was between
Edwards and Obama and Hilly was hovering around 2%. I think the Repubs get the best of both worlds with Hillary - they get their pro-corporate agenda and all the pandering to the right they want, AND they get to throw rocks if anything goes wrong.

I hereby promise to make John Edwards president for Christmas, but just for that day and not including Christmas Eve. The rest of the term goes to Obama.

20. like the other guy said - Edwards
He talks about stopping outsourcing, healthcare and other working class problems. He defended children from corporate criminals. Edwards is NOT pro-corporate. Obama I'm not sure about.
