4. Then let's work to insure that we have one. And we have to start
with registering for and voting in the caucuses and primaries, and then, when the nominee is selected, whether it's our first choice or not, rolling up our collective sleeves and beating the shit out of the Republican ticket.

34. If Bill Clinton stays away from the 2008 campaign if Hillary isn't the nominee
I will whup his ass!!

This election is too important to sit it out, no matter who is our
nominee, and I think Bill Clinton is both smart enough and caring
enough to realize it. He is still our best crowd draw, and by far
our most engaging speaker, although Obama and Edwards are getting
really good at it, too.

This election is far bigger than just Hillary, Obama or ANY other
potential Democratic nominee. Two sets of two words: Supreme Court
and Foreign Policy. Close your eyes and imagine both in the hands of
a Republican president getting inaugurated in January 2009. If that
doesn't scare you more than the most frightening horror movie ever made,
then you have nerves stronger than titanium.

36. We must have a Democrat in the White House, and on the two
major emphasis points you name -- foreign policy and SCOTUS appointments, we are in absolute agreement.

I am ashamed of how we have treated other countries generally under George W. Bush and our allies especially.

Time to restore more affirmation of the right things in both areas.

in the end, the votes count for more than the bucks. Even in the age of AIPAC, Abramof, and K Street.

10. Obama should get the hell out of the race.
You have made two swiftboating vids about Hillary Clinton. I will say one thing she is not slamming and slurring like you are. When you first started Obama, you were something fresh. But I see you want to be president so bad you are starting to use republican tatics....and how in the hell do you know that when bush vetos the funding bill the senate will turn around and give him what he wants a bill without a pull out date. Are you the know all see all. When you first started I liked you but you are turning in to a republican.

I HOPE EDWARDS GET GOING CAUSE "HE'S THE ONE" he'll kick republican ass and he won't have to swiftboat his fellow democrats to do it. Shame Obama I thought you were a good honest man.

She is just doing talking points saying whatever she feels you want to hear instead of being sincere. If you think people do not know better wait until the election.

12. not this time around
and plus, the stakes are too effing high.

Here's the ticket.
Edwards and/or Richardson

A southerner and a westerner. The results since 1964 show that sun-belters do well. Yankees flop.

Obama or Clinton?
Two yankees. Both fail to resonate with pick up truck drivers. Clinton invites way too much animosity, even among a lot of dems and progs. If she runs and loses then she'll rank right up there with Ralphie-boy for creating an unnecessary disaster. (Don't get me started on that deranged clown).

In my state, CA, either might win SF solidly, but collectively Modesto, Stockton, Sacramento, Fresno, Bakersfield, Redding, San Diego and Riverside count for a lot more.

Hilary WILL LOSE.

Barack WILL LOSE.

The winning ticket: Edwards--President, Richardson--Vice President

Let's get real and play to win.

13. I think Barack will
'resonate' a little better in the midwest than you think. Look at some of the crowds he's been drawing all over fly over country. He brought out 25,000 people in TEXAS, of all places, in February (I was there). You honestly think ANY other candidate could come anywhere close to that? Half of that? I don't think so.

23. It isn't over till it is over, I have heard of others who have skyrocketed then crashed and burned.
I have no vested interested in either Clinton or Obama, but these quarterly totals are just the beginning and there is still a long road ahead. Besides, what makes you think Obama is more electable than Clinton? Obama hasn't been the recipient of much anti-Obama press. Actually, the press has been abundantly kind to the man.

I am not ready to declare anyone the victor yet.

Could we Democrats calm down and be happy for all our candidates?
I thought the Republics were the problem!!! In the past, the Republics
beat our brains out with fund raising.
We have such a long hard battle ahead, please let's not give the enemy
talking points!

33. All I ask of Hillary is this:
If you don't secure the nomination, please don't keep your husband from campaigning for whomever does win. We've had two elections now where Big Dog wasn't a major player: 2000, when Al Gore foolishly decided to distance himself from the President, and 2004, when health issues kept Bill away until near the end.

We need Bill out there campaigning for us. You wanna lend a hand to show that there are no hard feelings, that'd be splendid too.

I'm been around politics long enough to know why and how/why this is happening; The media seems so
gleeful; and so many of them are Republicans. They do not want Hillary Clinton or John Edwards getting in their way of electing a fascist president.
