Why I have decided to support John Kerry.
Well the Clark campaign is over and even before it ended, I was at peace with Kerry.

How can a died-in-the-wool Clarkie support IWR Kerry you ask (maybe you didn't ask, but humor me here)?

First and foremost, he is the front runner by a mile. The only one with hope of catching him is Edwards. As far as I am concerned Edwards built his campaign on a "I can win the south" position. This week ended that with a bang and a thud.

Dean is all but over, and even though he is my personal favorite, I think he has been hurt by not winning even one state in the primaries. He bet the farm on Iowa and NH and lost. And the changing of his staff is too little, too late for most voters.

Kerry is a liberal at heart and mind. His voting record, as the rethugs are loving to say, is to the left of Kennedy. In short, John Kerry is an electable liberal. Something I didn't think I would see in my lifetime.

I love Wes Clark, I will always love Wes because he got me excited about politics again. He made me believe that together we could make a difference. I hope Kerry picks him for VP, but even if he doesn't Kerry now has me, heart and soul.

1. Wes Clark is still my first choice. But I respect Kerry....
IWR and all, but he is a liberal who has a great record of
acomplishments to add. Kerry is my second choice but now
he is my first. Kerry has my full support and I want to take
back America and I trust John Kerry to lead us in this task.

2. Wait, what about all the recent stuff at Du about Kerry??
Aren't you concerned about a story that paragon of journalism, Drudge, has done about Kerry?

What about all the rumors of Kerry's botox injections?? Doesn't this mean an automatic disqualification for one to support Kerry?

And I haven't even mentioned the big buggaboo of Skull and Bones!
:tinfoilhat:

{satire}

But seriously, welcome aboard!

6. Oh Lordy....
I am so sick of hearing about Skull and Bones!!

I'm still trying to figure out WTH some frat-boys' top-secret widdul clubhouse has to do with the US Government!:eyes:

With the party-boy past most kids have in College, I'm betting they don't even remember the majority of what went on in this club, and I'm purt'damn sure they weren't sitting around smokin' weed and planning global conquest.:silly:

14. Well, I'll have you know I am good friends with a NUMBER of women
who've had Botox injections. One of my BEST and most supportive clients when I was starting in my craft business had them as regularly as clockwork. I would say it's probably the only thing about Kerry that's really superficial. Unlike a certain squatter in Al Gore's house right now, who's superficial about EVERYTHING. And I say this as a Dean supporter.

9. Hi WesDem
I love your new name, I briefly considered changing mine, but Wes is why I am here and I am excited and committed. So I am keeping it.

:toast: Here's to making a difference and unemploying a Bush!

5. I can go with Kerry
I also like a Kerry\Clark ticket but I don't think it's any coincidence that the latest Drudge crap involves Clark. I think the repugs are not satisfied with having destroyed Clark's presidential campaign, they want to poison the veep well also. By the way, anyone notice the absence of all those Kerry-can-beat-Bush polls now that Clark's out?

15. Maybe it's appropriate - AWOL polls. By the way, have we seen
any bush favorability/unfavorability polls since "Meet the Press"? No? Hmmmmm....

8. I'm waiting until his wife responds to the "Intern"
I'm guessing she won't be as forgiving as Hillary.

10. She probably will
There are things women married to rich and powerful men accept that would make your toes curl. It's the way it's always been.

13. She is rich and he is powerful
Without her he is a poor man with Senate power.

If he shagged the intern and I were her I would dump him in a femtosecond.

beginning.
