I can't believe it, but
the mainstream media is showing more journalistic responsibility than many Democrats on DU. I haven't heard one pundit discuss the Kerry 'intern scandal', but AWOL's National Guard records are being pounded. Have I stepped through the looking glass?

good observation

I wish Dean would just drop out tomorrow so all these ridiculous attacks would stop. We're doing a good job here fighting for the RNC.

5. It's pretty sickening.
A lot of it is pre-nomination bickering, but if it continues Skinner should post new rules that attacks on the nominee will NOT be tolerated.

8. Actually, as far as I know that's the plan
No attacks on the nominee or requests for third-party voting will be tolerated after the nominee is chosen.

But I see no reason to entertain posters who won't support the Democratic candidate after the nomination....do you?

agreeable to the nominee's actions.....That most likely will be deleted....thus we will never truly explore the nominee effectively.

15. He raises it by giving people a vision of a better America
Instead of stale promises. He does it by marching to the beat of a different drummer, instead of waiting to see which way the herd is going.

If it doesn't turn out well, he will have no regrets.

Dean is the first and only candidate to whom I have given money for a campaign, ever. And there will be no other candidate who receives money from me in this election. Depending on the nominee, he may not get my vote either.

I worked a 12 hour shift in overtime, as a nurse, one day a month. Donated it to Dean. So did many of my nurse co-workers across the nation. Thats just one example.

We won't do that for Kerry.

17. Kerry needs to take responsibility.
I hope he comes clean soon. If he is to be our nominee, then it's time to lay the facts out and put the ladies to bed.....This is way too distracting from the democratic agenda.

18. Nope, still don't get it.
The press has historically given * a free pass and bashed whatever Dem was on the radar screen. But it just might be that they now hate * more than US. Maybe enough of them have died in *'s wars for fun and profit. I dunno. But they are focusing on AWOL, that's for sure.

36. It tells me that the media tide has turned against AWOL and all
his crimes against this country and humanity. We're not getting enough exposure to the truth, but the trend is definitely against that bastard. Btw, I think the defining moment was David Kay's pronouncement that "we were all wrong". That did it. People, including reporters, don't want to be relegated to cannon fodder for Halliburton. Everybody's got a limit.

39. Thank you Jason.
I have so much hope lately that we can actually remove these criminals. Because the situation seemed hopeless for so long my new mindset almost feels unreal. But, after calling many people for Clark I started to realize the degree of hate and rage which Americans have against this regime. Plus, look at the polls. We know they're probably skewed toward *, yet still he's LOSING to Kerry. That is a huge wake-up call. The Democratic Party is going to rock and roll!
