13. He just made a mistake I think. Asked if the US tortured he said something to the effect of: |
|
Regarding what we are discussing now - we did not torture. I think that leaves out the black op sites. I wish I could report it verbatim but wasn't prepared with pen and paper.

18. He is caught and is lying, trying to absolve himself of guilt and responsibility. |
|
Way too many tells that he is lying--hand near his mouth, reaching for a bottle of water before answering a question. What a missed opportunity to come clean and serve his nation. He is worse than the Neocons he served and serviced.

29. Actually, I do think he's broken up plots. And that he wasignored by *. And that |
|
he was wrong to stay in the CIA Director position after 9-11.
It's just one of those things where, if it happens on your watch, you have to take the responsibility.
Of course, * didn't take the responsibility and I think he and Darth Cheney were the ones really responsible for ignoring the warnings and letting the attack happen. Rice was warned and she bears a heavy responsibility for ignoring the warnings.
I think Tenet did a far better job than he's been given credit for. Remember, it's the Executive Branch that has to take actions on these things. The CIA cannot go off on their own.

That's what this whole thing is about. He doesn't give a flying fuck about the country, the war, the people----nuttin!
His stupid damn feelings are hurt and his only interest is in whining and ranting about it.
What a waste of time putting that dumbass on TV and hoping for some answers for a broken, desperate nation.
He thinks it's all about him!
His whole useless book, this appearance on 60 min. This is all about him and how wronged he feels.:puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :evilfrown:    :wtf: :grr: :grr: :grr: :nuke: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

28. Tenet has an agenda and it is Tenet |
|
Edited on Sun Apr-29-07 06:41 PM by Robson
Tenet is on 60 Minutes to promote Tenet. Based upon his body language and tenor, Tenet is as much a part of the problem as Bush. He is a sleaze bureaucrat who was afraid to stand up to the Bushies until it looked as though the anti-Bushies had some momentum. I'd suspect he is as much a part of the 9-11 event and the Iraq failure as Bush. If I was interested in getting to the bottom, I'd put him under oath in front of America. He is afraid of being turned into an ochre much less a perjurer.
