I agree with the sentiment, especially on the humvee - there's no excuse for not having the best protection. My problem is it makes me uncomfortable - if I were that guy he was speaking to - I would have been moving away. It looks way too rude. (I am a 50 something who grewup in the midwest - so my reaction may be atypical.)

Another reason to consider Biden is that he is not going to put up with the whole Republican your too soft on defense bullshit. He gets the nominee and Rudy comes with that shit and he is going to ram it right down his throat. I love Biden because he is not afraid to say what he feels and it hurts him sometimes but Id take that anyday over someone who is afraid to say anything.

That's just how cynical I've become and I REALLY hate saying it! I lost "my happy" some time back. I know I had it once, could have put it somewhere and can't remember and it'll turn up again. Things sometimes DO turn up again when you aren't looking, but I know there's no USE looking for it so I don't expect much!

Biden is a fucking tool and no small amount of "unguarded" soundbites is going to change the fact that, when he was presented golden opportunities to make his voice heard, he retreated into a shell.
