next Iraq funding bill should be
veterans health and vacation travelling expenses to bring them home while the Iraqi government is on vacation.
After all if the Iraqis don't think its important to continue working on their future, why should the US troops be there

5. Never occurred to Bush to screw Congress by winning
in IRaq. Which means that even he knows that winning isn't possible.

3. I'd like to see funding for
6 months only instead of a year-you know like they were saying "we should know by September if the surge is working or not"so fund it only until then...

6. Clearly
they ain't caving in that arrogant bastard-let him veto the next one and try to spin it that DEMS are putting the troops in danger by not funding HIS war.We just say we handed him a bill on May 1st for MORE MONEY than he asked for and he vetoed it and then we sent another one and he vetoed that one too...

9. I was completely apolitical BB (before Bush)
completely apolitical. I researched candidates before I voted but I expected decency and competence from anyone who was able to achieve office.
