Kudos to Kucinich for supporting, for embracing impeachment -
I cannot for the life of me understand the reticence of the Democrats to full-out support impeaching * and his evil sidekick. I just don't get it. All the hemming and hawing and beating around the impeachment issue. This is not about a first penis, or where it went, or what it did. This is about an Administration that is in violation of so many laws and who lied this country into war. This Administration is a poster boy for "high crimes and misdemeanors" for Pete's sake.

I don't care what it "looks like" impeach the SOBs...now!

I understood when initially the stance was "impeachment is off the table" actually, I never believed that because my thought on it is that even if it is on the table, timing is everything and you can't allow that to run your whole agenda when the press takes off with that and runs. However, now, any Democrat who hesitates about impeachment is losing my support fast.

I am sick of this madness; end the madness, impeach * - impeach them both!

16. Thanks for the quick follow up
I also sent a copy of the email that he sent me to a good number of folks in my address book, encouraging them to do the same. Naturally I expect the Republican Congressmen to be less enthusiastic, but every little bit helps.

8. Congress IS listening to us.
Murtha says it's "on the table". Kuchinich rescheduled his news break to it's original time, after we called his office. Pelosi is taking a tally of callers.

And almost as important, we have each other here. I can hear from your virtual tone of voice that you are sick and tired of waiting on ignorance. But really, just know that we're here. We're sick of it. And we're not insane. We're vigilant. We're responsible Americans. But you know what i mean. You deserve a sincere, but virtual, hug. An E-hug. :)

9. Hey, thanks for that, back at you eh. You are so right about
my "virtual tone of voice" and my level of disgust and frustration. I know that you are right, we here at DU, most of us, are sick and tired of this madness.

Also, you are right about us being "vigilant and responsible Americans." I am so glad you are here, that you all are here.

Thanks for sharing the good news about people in power listening to us and thanks for the "virtual hug" - back at ya.

12. Okay, where's the 67 votes for conviction?
Because frankly we've got as much chance of convicting Bush as we do of getting Emmett Till's murderers convicted by an all-white jury in segregated Mississippi.

When conviction fails it will be a few months later and we'll back where we started.

13. here's my theory
Once the blizzard of subpoenas really excavates some hard-hitting unequivocal in-your-face solid proof that will make the GOP truly shake in their boots, that's when we really start counting votes.

I realize the Dems have a lot on their plate, but this is the key to impeachment. Waxman and Conyers have their work cut out for them.

And Junior and Shooter should both be impeached, together, holding hands, like they do when the "speak" to Congress.

15. I hope you're right
But most of what Bush has done has already been leaked in some form or another it just hasn't been proven in the hearings. I don't think the solid proof will do anything because I don't think people care enough.

Short of finding out that he got a blowjob from an intern, I'd say Bush's job is pretty safe until January 2009.

17. A journey of a thousand miles....
begins with one step (or something like that). This may never end in removal from office, frankly the clock may run out anyway, but the crimes and incompetence needs to see the light of day.
