Bush Vetoes 'Troop Withdrawal Bill' ??!!!?
Edited on Tue May-01-07 09:37 PM by sampsonblk
That is garbage. The headline should read 'Bush Vetoes Funding for Troops'

They are equally true. We are losing the language war, unfortunately. And its not all the fault of the media either.

1. Bush defunds Iraq war
Bush veto ends funding in July 2007.
They have enough time to bring the troops home before the money runs out.

4. Congress should send the same bill back to him.
Let him continue to veto the bills. He needs the funding.

2. Right wing media also forgot to mention that of the $100 billion Bush
...originally asked for only $30 billion would go to support the troops while $70 billion would end up funding mercenaries, contractors and lining the pockets of war profiteers. None of these supplemental funds would be accounted for and tracked to specific troop support measures. Bush had asked for a blank check for most of those funds. MSM just forgot to mention that!
