Is anyone else going to try to stomach the Repugs debate tommorow
I admit, I have a morbid sense of curiosity, so I'll watch the debates Thursday night....But, much like when the San Francisco 49ers would play Green Bay in the playoffs in the mid to late 1990's, the goal will be to not throw anything thru the TV, LOL..

But I'm sure I'll be throwing something at the TV when I hear the following: Sam Brownback talking about the need to get God back in the public square.....When I hear that dope John McCain talking about how well Iraq is progressing....Last but not least, when I hear Giuliani go w/the Republicans are going to keep you safer bull-shit rhetoric...

1. I'm hoping for a bloodletting
Also I really want to see if Brownback will drop to his knees yapping in tongues to see if he can drag in the snakehandler vote.

4. I have lost all patience with their
same old BS these last 6 years to the point I can hardly even carry on a conversation with a repub, much less voluntarily subject myself to watching a stageful of them... I do look forward to reading the re-cap on DU though.

5. I'm with you, a recap is more than enough for me! I just couldn't
stomach anything more than that!

6. I'm going to watch until the phrase "Reagan legacy" has been spouted 100 times.

So... I expect to watch about 2 minutes of the debate. Maybe three. :eyes:

8. There is NOTHING that bunch of pandering asswipes has to say
that will entice me to watch for even two seconds. That Tweety Bird Matthews is moderating is just another reason not to bother. He won't let them get two words in edgewise before he'll cut them off and offer his own thoughts as fact. They could put duct take over his mouth and bind his hands with nylon cord and he would try to sign his opinion with his toes before he'd shut up and listen.

Over two million people watched the Democratic debate, it would thrill me beyond belief if the ratings for the Republic debate was in the low 100,000s - just to show how uninterested the American people are in anything they have to say.

9. Oh Shit, I forgot that

Chris Matthews was moderating it, I CAN'T stand him..They should just have Darrel Hammond from SNL just moderate the debate, he'd probably ask better (and non-softball) questions...

Tim Russert would have been a better choice.....

10. It'll be a laughfest!!
I am looking forward to the idiocy. What a field of buffoons. It's a lot easier to watch when I know so many people don't take them seriously anymore.
