Granite Status: Some Lynch insiders sold on Obama

LYNCH-BACKERS CHOOSE BARACK

Three prominent Democrats who have been in Gov. John Lynch's inner circle have endorsed Barack Obama, the Status has learned.

Kate Hanna, Lynch's former legal counsel and treasurer for his 2006 campaign, and Alan Reische, finance chair for Lynch's reelection campaign, are partners at the Sheehan Phinney Bass and Green law firm.

Debby Butler, a Lynch '06 co-chair, is an accountant at the Sulloway & Hollis firm.

"We're thrilled to have the support of these three veteran campaigners," said campaign spokesman Reid Cherlin.

Obama's wife, Michelle, returns to the state Monday for appearances in Bedford and Windham.
