what question do you wish they had asked GOP candidates?
My dream question is

Reagan financed the growth of Islamic fundamentalism and terrorist tactics against civilian targets.
Do you believe that was Reagans greatest contribution to US foreign policy?

1. Given the faulty intelligence, would you have gone into Iraq, in hindsight?

5. Nope, I want to hear them say that even if no WMD were found, we were
still right to invade--even though the country posed no imminent threat. That's important to me. Was it worth the blood of our troops, and the blood of Iraqis, and billions of dollars, and the cost to our military?

3. candidates you have all stated that the GOP is the part of ideas
given the current administration is also an administration of ideas but without any competence in executing those ideas..... why should the American people trust the GOP again?

7. will you have your cake and eat it too?
do you support the war in Iraq and will you repeal Bush's taxcuts to fund it?

IMO the candidate who came closest to answering that was Ron Paul. He understands that we can't police the world and that a national sales tax can't support the current foreign policy.

9. also how will you finance all these tax cuts you are proposing
while the country has its highest national debt and huge deficits already.

10. Republicans love putting the cart before the horse..
libertarians want the horse without a cart, supplysiders want a fancy and comfortable cart without a horse. Democrats want a cart that is pulled by the horse.

If Republicans really wanted taxcuts in the long run they would raise taxes and reduce the massive amount of money wasted on interest by paying down the national debt. Instead they embrace more spending and less taxes now..and less spending and higher taxes for future generations.

11. Excellent
Similar question, but yours is too much for Tweety and the new RWN Politico to phrase. Too intellectual for the party that claims they have BIG ideas. (complement from this commenter because you are spot on)

13. "Who the Hell do you think you are?"
"When's the last time you were pregnant?"

"Did you ever have premarital sex, or sex outside your marriage?" (No, it's not fair, but too bad.)

"Have you ever considered the possibility that you might be WRONG in your religious beliefs? (If so, why do you feel justified in forcing them on other people?)"

"What are we trying to WIN in Iraq?"

"What do you propose the nation's obligation is to veterans suffering from both physical AND psychological pain?"

"What spending would you need to cut in order to pay down the national debt?" (And stand there with a calculator, because they can't possibly propose enough to meet that.)

"What would YOU say to Mary Cheney if she were YOUR daughter?"

"What do you think keeps people in poverty, and why do women and minorities make up such a large number of the poor?"

"What would you do to ensure that women and minorities receive equal pay for equal work?"

"Should corporations be responsible for cleaning up their own messes?"

"Who's more energy-efficient -- you, or President Gore?"

"What will you do to establish fair, verifiable, equal voting processes?"

"What do you think of Ann Coulter?"

I'd love to hear their answers to any of these.

15. Why should an ordinary working person support a party
that consistently works to undermine him - by providing tax cuts that benefit only millionaires, denying him affordable health care, seeking to destroy the Social Security system that will provide a decent standard of living for him in his old age, cutting programs that help his children obtain a college education, failing to provide for him in the event of a natural catastrophe, trying to pry into his personal life, yabbering on incessantly about being "pro life" while doing all of the above and more....and on and on.....

Just once I would like to see these bastards squirm under that kind of a grilling.....

Tweety and Co. went way too easy on these creeps.
