Perhaps someone here could help me out. I am looking for a link to polling data that relates to public support for the war from the Fall of '02 through the beginning of the war, 3/03. I have searched in vane for a few days now and all I can come up with are polls that ask in retrospect was going to war the right thing to do.

From a 2002 poll: Among people who know there is little or no evidence that Iraq works with Al Qaeda, opposition to war in Iraq is an amazing 75.8%. This seems to be consistent with other polls at the time. Most people favored the invasion only if they believed one or more of the administration's lies - WMD, link to terrorists, Saddam was behind the 911 attacks, blah blah.
