5. Problem is that if there were a rapture the ones advocating it most likely

wouldn't be raptured. And the ones advocating the rapture would say something else happened.

6. I'm pretty sure I don't really believe

in the rapture. I DO belive Jesus was real and was a great person we should all try to use as an example of how to treat others, but I don't believe in the bible stories that has all the supernatural magical scenarios playing out. It's hard to get behind something you can't explain fully, and yet I feel like a spiritual person in a Taoist sense. I think God is part of everything all around us that is living. Rapture-snapture-doomsday talk!

8. If There Was A Rapture...

If there was a Rapture, as the Religious Right's propagandists would have us believe, the world would be emptied of hundreds of millions of good souls, and the rest of us would be left with the televangelists, the radio preachers, the power-hungry religious politicos, Dominionists, and most of the senior staff of Focus on the Family as well as the Traditional Values Coalition.
