3. The last time I heard it about Stupid & Co
was before the Katrina fiasco. I haven't heard it for nearly two years now, unless it was being applied to a new Democratic majority in Congress.

4. They're just too busy restoring honor and integrity to the White House
and making sure help is on the way for our demoralized military.

6. Yep - a couple more "oldies but goodies". Petards and self hoisting come to mind.

7. 'round about the time of the coup. . .in late '00
when the "me, me, mine" selfish, greedy, short sighted, sadistic ingrates and extremists rigged their first election masquerading as compassionate conservatives.

That term was an oxymoron in itself as compassion is hardly an attribute to which frugality could ever possibly apply and conservatives don't go around trashing our constitution, global reputation, and looting our treaury.

egads

I'd rather put real little enlightened and well loved kiddies in charge instead of sociopaths from disfunctional families who can't see basic human kindness and empathy as anything short of treason.

9. Rush Limbaugh said it in Fox's "Half Hour Comedy Hour"
It was their opening skit, a flash-foreward to January 2009. Rush has just been inaugurated as president and in his first announcement from the Oval Office he tells the camera, "And now the grownups are finally in charge."

I honestly don't think the Fox "comedy" writers even understood the irony of that.
