Paris Hilton off to jail
She didn't lie to congress, get troops killed, or subvert other governments and she still has to go to jail for 45 days. What justice.

4. She broke the damn law
If you or I did the same thing she did, we'd probably get 45 days as well. Good for the judge who sentenced her.

6. And Wolf Blitzer said, "blah blah blah and good luck to her."
Good luck to her? :wtf:

That's how horrible of an anchor/journalist he is.

He never knows what the hell to say.

So he just blabs whatever pops into his head, and 99% of the time it's laughable.

How do they keep him on the air?

7. Not defending Hilton
Just wanted to point out the irony of a 45 day sentence(and the endless media attention it will garner) when others in our government warrant hardcore sentencing for the crimes against our country and the rest of the world.

10. But politicians from both political party's routinely get out of trouble
Edited on Fri May-04-07 07:47 PM by billbuckhead
I think that this is the greatest danger to Dems, that they don't enforce the law on other politicians and are seen as tweedledum and tweedledee on corruption.

for their crimes against humanity.

You make a good point, gipper.

13. Do you really think will happen? I don't. She will move to NY or London
before June and make a zellon dollars doing a catch me if you can series. Making money must be a gene thing. She will out pace Bill Gates before she is 30.

15. I didn't lie to congress, get troops killed, or subvert other governments either...
what laws should I be allowed to break and not go off to jail for? I need to know where that line is.

16. It will get her off the streets. And since she seems to always be
drunk that should be a good thing.

I'm surprised she didn't manage to go to rehap instead of jail. That's what everyone else in her crowd has done.
