Woman at center of Kerry affair named in UK paper
http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2004071162,00.html

PRESIDENTIAL hopeful John Kerry was branded a “sleazeball” last night by the parents of a young woman he allegedly tried to woo.

Alex Polier, 24, was named as the woman at the centre of a scandal that threatens to damage Democrat Kerry’s bid for the White House.

Her mother Donna claims Kerry, 60 — dubbed the new JFK — once chased Alex to be on his campaign team and was “after her”.

There is no evidence the pair had an affair, but her father Terry, 56, said: “I think he’s a sleazeball. I did kind of wonder if my daughter didn’t get that kind of feeling herself.

“He’s not the sort of guy I would choose to be with my daughter.”

Terry, of Malvern, Pennsylvania, added: “John Kerry called my daughter and invited her down to Washington two or three years ago.

1. Well...
...if all he did was act like a dirty old man in pursuit of a girl that could be his daughter, then that's not the same as having an affair, just means there are others out there who likely didn't object to the overtures of a dirty old man.

Being old, wealthy and powerful is always a burden. Just ask the mixed heritage children of plantation slaveowners.

OH no... the way I first received notice that I had been accepted into my doctoral program... I was called and invited by my future advisor... does that mean that in reality.... he was... after me?

7. Exactly...
what proof do they have that he was "after her" other than a phone call to get her to work on his campaign? I'm betting nothing.

18. According th this story it is.
Alex Polier, 24, was named as the woman at the centre of a scandal that threatens to damage Democrat Kerry’s bid for the White House.

Lets see...um...Obviously, because The National Enquirer and Drudge report there was a sordid affair, the truth is not questioned. But an equally reputable publication reports that this is the woman "at the centre" of it, but...."this may not be the SAME alleged "Bimbo"...

21. oh my god!!!!!
Kerry chased down a 24 year old girl, and went after her to be on his campaign? The horror.

Since Daddy decided that Kerry must have been after his baby's bod, I guess he's saying his daughter is too stupid to have anything of intellectual or political value to offer the Kerry campaign.

I'd be more pissed at Daddy today.

The Sun, make your National Enquirer look honest and intelligent.
They are a right wing rag that still has page 3 girls.

29. What parent would comment on their adult daughter's life to
a tabloid? Something is screwy here. These people trying to make some easy money, maybe. Get paid to say something negative about Kerry? Notice how careful they were not to actually say anything that could be really checked out. No specific dates, places, events, etc. Just vague stuff like "He was after her." "I think he is a sleazeball." etc. Remember what the Ragin Cajun Carville said about $100 bills and trailer parks? I think that is what is going on here.

32. I bedded brothers to get over cruel split

Mum slept with my lover while I partied

I had sofa sex with my pal's bloke

She cheated while I cooked her a treat

I romped with ex while my husband was away

I stole pal's husband but still sleep around

I bedded girl's mum after party bust-up

More worthy headlines in the SUN.
