Mother Nature exposes the War on Terror as a complete fraud.

How many times have we heard the cowardly assertion made by Republicans that we have to fight them there, so we don't fight them here? Like, it's OK to use our soldiers as a expendable targets so we can have a cozy existence, insulated from the realities of this world? But that's not the point of this post.

The "War on Terror" is a fraud. When comparing the relative destructive potential of Al Qaeda here vs. say, a Cat.5 Hurricane in New Orleans or a Mega-Tornado in Kansas....what could Al-Qeada possibly do to realize 1/1000 of the damage these natural events have caused us? All this administration has done is make matters worse. Our national guard and equipment is 1/2 way around the world and not available to deal with these mega-disasters. And we've spent a TRILLION dollars fighting an unknowable enemy that could have been used to rebuild/enhance our infrastructure and created jobs here by investing in decentralized enegy technologies.

Every Democrat should make this point over and over....the 'War on Terror' is a Republican money making fraud. Mother Nature has proven this to us twice in the last 3 years.

Why, Mother Nature is just a Terraist who keeps on attacking us, justifying a War on Terra. And as Steven Colbert noted, we can show ol' Mother Nature who's boss by continuing to assault her with ever-increasing releases of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.
