Politics ain't beanbag.
I see a lot of consternation about critical comments about our candidates being offered on this site as well as tough interviews from msm types. My advice to everyone is "get comfortable with it" The give/take of a presidential race is unavoidable. I don't like posters parroting freeper material here, but it is usually quickly refuted plus it alerts all of us to the junk being spewed by the RW. The responses give us the ammunition to fight the lies. Truthful but critical posts are helpful to those of us who have yet to make up our minds as to who to support in the Primaries. Aggressive questioning by CNN, ABC etc. may be aggravating but it provides an opportunity to give the lie to the pollution spread by Republicans. We know the trash is coming, being able to respond to it effectively is the key to regaining the WH.

1. Yup, got to poke at the weak spots and strengthen them first before
our enemies find and exploit them. A good (non-swiftboating) primary fight is just the ticket.

2. Agreed, chieftain
"Politics ain't beanbag" - is what Dick Durbin said into the Congressional Record when Bushco tried to drive him off the Intelligence Committee. (as an aside)

3. Absolutely
I expect nothing less than a vigorous questioning of candidates, especially my favorites. I want to make sure I know full well who I am voting for and I want others to do the same regardless of their political leanings. Political offices are too important to allow vagueness for the sake of being polite.
