I'm agast at the crap I'm reading on DU. I expected better from Democrats.

I'm very disappointed at the posts here. Where has sanity gone?

I'm willing to wait a little bit, if it results in a categorical denial; if that is not forthcoming, and DAMNED quickly, then I'm not willing to wait very long at all.

And I've been around campaigns long enough to know that stories get planted that aren't true. And I have personal experience of dirty tricks in campaigns. It's not nice but it's done by all sides, unfortunately.

7. Here's my analogy

When I last posted on this forum, it was a pond -- not the cleanest place in the world to swim, but fun anyway.

This morning, I find the pond I love to hate has had a bunch of sewage dumped in it.

There are multiple posts on the first page of GD 2004 clearly refuting the "facts" promoted by Drudge. I'm sorry that so many people are willing to toss critical thinking out the window in order to prolong their fantasy that Kerry will not eventually be nominated.

As perverse as it may sound, I hope Kerry comes out swinging hard in this one. As a party the Dems can not let scandal mongering become the principle weapon of the Republican party. Those slimy ass sub-humans are far more corrupt in their personal lives than most Dems. If they want to get into the gutter, it's time for us to get down their with them and end this shit for once and all.

GWB ain't a choir boy. I bet a few dollars dragged through the right suburbs of Houston will cause more than one bimbo to talk.

We win on the issues every time. We need to defang them on this personal bullshit. I will gain tremendous respect for Kerry if he takes them head-on over this issue.
