Support DU and other Liberal Blogs: Take the 2007 Political Blog Reader Survey!
This survey is sponsored by BlogAds, the company that serves up advertisements on DU and other blogs. You can help the support the liberal blogosphere by taking a little time out of your day to answer a few questions.

I am told that it takes about 12 minutes to complete. But if you get bored you can bail on the survery anytime after the first page.

12. I did it. They have some blind spots.
Their questions indicate that they have some blind spots. For example:

Question about what computer you use at home & work: The only options are Mac or PC. What about people who use something else, such as Linux, UNIX, or whatever? They didn't even have an "other" option.

Question on religion: They have a long list but no pagan, neopagan, Wiccan, or similar such option. No "other" option either.

When will you next buy a new car? They assume you will, but I've known a lot of urban people who don't have a car and don't ever intend to have one.

15. Heh
I guess by their line of thinking, people who use Linux aren't good consumers since they didn't pay a company for proprietary software.

18. If they complain to you about low response rate, you can tell
them at least some people found the questions too intrusive for an on-line survey by an unknown source, for unknown purposes. And there were too many demographics that taken together and with just a little more info, can allow a respondent to be identified. There are serious no-nos for survey researchers.
