93 Year Old Republican to vote for Democrat because of Bush
Bush has disgusted and alienated the republican voters to the point where a 93 year old man, one who was a republican through the Depression and Watergate! to go register as a democrat and vote for a democratic president.
When you drive someone who has been a loyal republican all his life, for 93 years and nothing that has happened has driven him from the party, except for your own self, you are truly the worst in history.

1. Sounds like my then 93 y/o Grandmother
She was a life-long Republican (basically because my grandfather told her who to vote for :eyes: ) But when I asked her before the election in 2004, she said she wasn't voting for anyone, she was so disgusted with George W. Bush, "he's a bad President and not a nice man." Even at her advanced age, she knew a turkey when she saw one. RIP Grammy!

2. Sounds like my Pop at the age of 87
He hadn't voted for a Democrat since Adlai Stevenson ran against Eisenhower. He hated fundies but loved his tax cuts. He was also a sucker for the "welfare queen" propaganda.

What pushed him over the edge were the Swift Boaters. The smear of a veteran who had served honorably in war was just too much for him. He told me he voted for Kerry and why.

He's gone now, but somehow I doubt he'd vote for any of the current crop of losers and lunatics the GOP has trotted out.

3. Oh that Bush! He's such a whistle-ass
93 seems a little late in the game to wake up, but redemption is always possible, I reckon.

4. I hope this 93 yr old will convince many of her peers to do the
same. Rethugs in that age group has supported * for far too long.
