"Bill Clinton, working for Hillary's campaign, brings back memories of scandal in the White House"
This is the meme being 'discussed' on cable newz today.

And it pisses me right the fuck off.

What happened in the Clinton White House was the notable span of eight years with no white house staffer or leader suffering any legal issues.

But wait a sec there, Stinky, you might wish to say ...... what about Lewinski? Whitewater? Impeachment?

Yeah? What about them?

Whitewater .... no indictments of any one in the white house ...... no one.

Lewinski/Impeachment?

Had there been no crotch sniffers, this would have been what it should have been .... NO body's fucking business.

GAWD I HATE THIS SHIT.

Disclaimer: I am 100% Candidate-neutral.

1. How many millions spent to prove a BJ? Sounds like Clinton will remind folks of GOP frivolity

3. Interesting that the same people that decry the BJ impeachment are opposed to impeaching Bush
going as far as declaring "impeachment off the table."

If Bush is not impeached, then any future President can do whatever he/she wants.

9. WHICH "same people"?
Has Pelosi decried the blowjob impeachment? Who else? Do name names. Oh, do you mean the DEMOCRATS by that remark?

5. They went with the blowjob because they couldn't find anything else.
AND THEY TRIED SO HARD.

AND BILL'S POPULARITY WENT UP, NOT DOWN.

People all over the world still adore him.

Scandal? You mean that eerie foreshadowing of bogus prosecutions of Democrats for the sole purpose of perverting the election process in the Republicans' favor? THAT scandal? Seems like the the Republican Congress was knee deep in that. If you see the blowjob impeachment as the start of it. BTW, if it was the lie, not the bj, why haven't the Republicans voted to impeach Bush?

Shooting fish in a barrel, it is. Go, media, turn the talk to Bill.

14. About the same amount which would have fortified the New Orleans levees
and had enough change to build a new wing on a school ...

2. Clinton is not the answer to the Bush-Clinton-Bush formula
Progressives have lots of reasons to oppose both Clintons, reasons that have nothing to do with Big Dog's predatory behaviour but more with their policies and the sweet business deals they were involved in.

7. So why wouldn't the Congress impeach on that?
If Clinton was involved in dirty deals, why not impeach on that instead of perjury-trapping him with the dress? Was their investigation into every detail of their lives insufficient to reveal them?

At least, why weren't those deals listed in the articles of impeachment?

Could you tell me?

29. There is nothing progressive about the DLC's Progressive Policy Institute
anymore that there is compassion in Bush's compassionate conservatism. PPI is a neoliberal think tank, the flip side of the neocon PNAC, and neoliberal has nothing to do with liberalism.

4. Maybe talk of "Old" scandal will cause people to question current & ongoing corruption.

The general public will hopefully realize, at some point, the WH is covered with SLIME and numerous Repukes are criminals.

15. Real vs. unreal scandals
The salient difference is that the Republicans create their own scandals--and the scandals are real. Democrats are not angels, but they haven't gone totally down the tubes like today's Republicans.

Check it out: As measured by the total number of convictions and forced resignations of administration members, Bill Clinton's was the cleanest two-term Presidential administration since Teddy Roosevelt.

By the same measure, the most corrupt administration in American history was the Reagan Administration. The Reagan gang would sometimes rack up more convictions and forced resignations IN A SINGLE DAY than the Clinton Administration managed in its entire eight years. Shows you what a delusional Bizarro World the right live in.

Say in plain words what it is you're accusing me of having done.

What sewer?

What gossip?

On edit ... to go a bit further, so perhaps you can understand .......

1. I heard this old meme on teevee today. I didn't make it up. No doubt others heard it too.

2. It was groundless back then and it is even more groundless (to say nothing of irrelevant) today.

3. This isn't some obscure and long ago debunked trash. This is endlessly discussed.

4. I am not a supporter (nor one who tears down) any candidate.

5. I suspect you reacted out of knee jerk more than serious consideration of the OP and now you're defending what you said.

6. I challenge you to show me any thread where I disparage your candidate (assumption based on your avatar).

The "crotch sniffers" were the ones going after Clinton, in case you never heard that term used.

30. He is condemning the media for attacking Clinton
How is that dragging it up?

Believe me, if you are a Hillary supporter, you will be posting rants about how they are treated sooner rather than later.
