"Leading Wisconsin Officials Endorse Clinton"

Hillary Clinton received the endorsements of leading Wisconsin officials and community leaders today, illustrating her growing support in the Badger State.

"On questions of foreign policy and national security, Senator Clinton will lead this country with both strength and experience," said Tom Loftus, former Speaker of the Wisconsin Assembly and Ambassador to Norway. "She showed that in the first debate, she has shown that in the U.S. Senate, and I saw her demonstrate that when she met with leaders from other countries during the Clinton Administration. Senator Clinton has represented all of the people of New York--including its dairy industry--effectively and forcefully in the U.S. Senate, and she understands the challenges facing diverse states like Wisconsin that rely on urban industry, small business and agriculture for economic growth."

Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk said, "Hillary Clinton is strong, smart and experienced. She is battle-tested and has the broad experience needed to lead our nation, at home and abroad. Hillary Clinton has devoted 35 years to creating better lives for children and families and will continue that work as President."

Leading Wisconsinites Endorsing Hillary Today:

* Kathleen Falk, Dane County Executive
* Matt Flynn, Former Chair of the Wisconsin Democratic Party, Milwaukee Attorney
* Tom Loftus, Former Speaker of the Wisconsin Assembly and Ambassador to Norway
* Nancy Nusbaum, Former Brown County Executive and Mayor of DePere
* Brady Williamson, Madison Attorney
* Georgia Duerst-Lahti, Beloit College Professor, Commentator
* Kate Peyton, Activist and Organizer
* Jackie Boynton, Founder, Women's Choice, Milwaukee Attorney
* Karen Campbell, Milwaukee Community Leader
* Heather Colburn, Interim Director, FAIR Wisconsin
* Janis Ringhand, Former Evansville Mayor

11. They aren't "leading Wisconsinites"...believe me...
Falk lost a race for Attorney General against a freaking Nazi asswipe in 2006. She had the race in the bag...and lost. As for the others, they are a couple of former mayors of little one-horse towns, a couple teachers and some "activists".

This is hardly a list of who's who in Wisconsin. I live here, work directly in local politics and know who the players are. The OP title is inflated at best.

16. You neglect to mention that Falk snatched the nomination...
...from an excellent sitting Dem AG, and then blew the general election to the Rape-Publican Nazi asswipe.

17. I know...Falk exploited Peg Lautenschlager...with friends like Falk...who needs enemies
Falk played the Repig card on Peg Lautenschlager at the end...even though she indicated she wouldn't...and most assumed she wasn't that pathetic.

So it was karmic that she lost to J.B. Van Hollen...

8. She would certainly be less harmfull
And quite possibly get many possitive things accomplished. I have taken a decent look at her and will continue to do so, so far she is not my first choice but I wouldnt be totaly dissapointed if she ended up as my next president.

12. Yes - They Forced Her To Vote For An Excruciatingly Stupid War.
Although she continues to say that she made the decision herself. And it was the correct decision.

What a trooper!

15. Do you ever get the feeling that this is SILLY?
"Cieslewicz was one of 17 Wisconsin Democratic leaders announced Wednesday in support of the Edwards campaign. Others include U.S. Rep. David Obey, former Gov. Tony Earl and 11 state legislators."

There are Obama's WI endorsements too, but I'm not gonna waste more time on this silliness.
