1. I was lucky enough to attend the
taping for last night's show (really fun) and we got the author of the book about Einstein, Walter Isaacson, as the guest. He was okay, but I really wished we had gotten tix for tonight's show.

2. How much interaction does Stephen have with the audience?
What happens during commercials? I think going to a taping of that would be fantastic!

3. Stephen does have some interaction with the
audience. When he came out before the show, he asked if anyone had any questions, so we could speak to, as he put it, "the real ME before I go into character and say all these terrible things". A couple of people asked him questions, but nothing that I can remember really. During commercials, he spoke with one of the writers at THE DESK, and goofed around a bit. I was surprised at how small the studio is, I don't know how they had room for the life-sized Nativity scene that was displayed before Christmas. (And it was freezing.) The show seemed to go so fast, before you knew it, it was over. It was fun.

4. Thanks.
I had heard he talks with his guests beforehand, "out of character", and explains the interview to them. I'm glad he does that with the audience, too.
