28. O'Bama's an Irish American on his mom's side
according to a news report I watched on CBS Evening News. I actually think that would be a very good selling point, he needs to share a pint of Guiness with the regular folk.

16. You and Tucker
are always saying "Obama is fading". Obama as a newcomer is in a great position this early in the campaign.

4. Nobody in the top 3 is "fading". Obama is doing just fine
"is leading her 2to 1 among independents"

Except Indies don't always get to vote in Dem primaries. Her lead among only Democrtas is higher.

7. I just heard that too and thought my head would explode...
So the campaign with the media starts...."Say it's so and it is"...Obama is not fading. He still does better than Hillary in most of the general election match-ups....I can't see how that is fading.

8. That's how "they" do it! Watch and learn........
This was done to Wes Clark in 2003, and it appears that Obama will be the fading candidate this time round.

The media has a lot of influence. They will be working on Obama from now till the first primary vote. In the end, the media will be promoting the Sunny Southern White Guy running on the Dem side. They don't want no stinking minority (race or gender) who might not do their bidding........

Remember my words.

11. And so, they will......
and voters will fall for it--just as planned!

Months and months of watching and learning, and by the time it is finished, you will barely believe what happened.

Nothing happens by accident.

She'll rally the wingnut types to vote Republican and also they are building her up in order to rip her to shreds.

Projecting the way Edwards will be seen/treated by the MSM has little - no, nay- nothing to do with the current state (80 posts? and you're commenting on the state of discourse here? Interesting.) of discourse here on DU. Stick around, read more you post, and you'll become a productive member.

33. That's what they wanted in 2004. He was promoted by
the media even in to the very beginning of March - though Kerry had won 16 primaries, Clark 1, and Edwards 1. It became near mathematicly impossible on March 3.

The point being that though having the media with you is very very importan. (Gore or Kerry would had landslides if the media had liked them.) It is not enough.

and the liberal media bias wants the Democrats to win in 2008?

13. They just said they
do not agree with the Gallup Poll. It does not really state how Obama is doing because Gore is in the poll. Gore needs to be removed from the Poll to truely see how well Obama is doing. Tucker and Lynn Sweet both agreed on this issue.

Carlson is absolutely clueless on every level. Why he has a venue for opinion is perplexing. I thought he was headed into the Game Show racket...where he belongs.
