A little surprising about Richardson
Gov. Bill Richardson of New Mexico, a Democrat, reported owning more than $100,000 in stock and options worth at least $250,000 in a major oil refiner on whose board he once sat.

3. It says 'major' oil co.
Richardson doesn't seem like the type that would sit on the board of an oil refinery.

5. Wait - I'm not saying anything bad about Richardson
He is one of my favorites.
I'm just saying it caught me by surprise.

It's not hypocritical like Edwards who made money off of a hedgefund that got rich off of low income people.

Just curious.

6. people are going to make money
Without looking into the details I wouldn't be to worried. You make some money invest it and forget about it. Faux News like to play this same gotcha games and compares it to Cheney/Halliburton. Big difference.

7. Good point Rufus..

None of us know the details.

And if it were me, I wouldn't start planting seeds of doubt without first knowing details. Not on Governor Richardson, and not on any of our candidates.

But hey.. to each their own.

Speaking of the good Governor, congrats in coming in 3rd in the Daily KOS monthly poll (so far) .. and good luck this Monday when he makes his campaign official!

8. these stories DO help me decide which Dem candidate to vote for in primary---I'm still undecided
So keep em coming, I don't think we should cover up a thing on our own candidates or theirs. Let the best Dem win.

against the wealthy corporate interests in his state...

That is what Trail Attorneys do...

That is why the GOP hate Trail Attorneys...

10. Actually it is Valero, Diamond is a drilling company.
Valero is the largest independent US refinery company. TerraSolar is a solar power company. American Energy Group invests in power plants. He used his knowledge and experience to work with a variety of energy companies when he was not in public service.
