Italy approving a bill to stop imports of seals products
Edited on Thu May-17-07 05:22 AM by Omaha Steve

No link yet.

Yesterday the minister for the Environment protection Pecoraro Scanio met with the Canadian Ambassador to Italy and he restated his longstanding opposition to the seal hunt urging the ambassador to reconsider the opportunity of continuing this barbaric practice, also in view of the climate changes.
The italian minister Scanio has also announced that Italy is going to ratify the European directive banning imports of all seal products through a bill, that he will soon submit, for approval, to the Council of Ministers.
