One of those mentioned already released the tax returns.

BTW, they don't have to and I don't see why they should.

3. You don't see why they should?
I, personally, would like to know the sort of person who asks me to vote for them. And, since money and financial dealings, are a large part of what makes up a person's thought-process, then how and where these candidates made their money is important to me. If I were running, I'd happily devulge my tax returns. Of course, it would take all of a minute to read them since I'm not hyper-riche. LOL.

Like the second poster said, "how can any of them possibly know what goes on down here?" I'd like to know that, too. Seems like the only one of the Dems running who has an inkling about how hard it is to live on real-world wages is Dennis Kucinich (John Edwards, before you say it, was never "poor." Upper middle class, but not "poor" and not struggling).

5. The Obamas are not hyper rich. They did alot more due to the book sales.
this is the first time they went to close to a million. His book is where the big bump came from. Michelle has a good job and makes really good money and more than her husband.
They are not in the social and financial elite class.

Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton and Republicans Mitt Romney, John McCain, Tommy Thompson and James Gilmore all received 45 day extensions to file their reports. Other candidates filed their reports Tuesday and the Federal Election Commission's legal staff was reviewing them before making them public.

6. Edwards and Giuliani reported

That is very poor reporting from ABC. I know we should demand better but it's what passes as news these days, I guess.
