1. Oh, this should be interesting
Considering that DeLay tried to use one of Colbert's interviews as support for some neocon agenda, not realizing that The Colbert Report is satire.

I feel sorry for DeLay.

Well, I almost feed sorry for DeLay.

Well, I kinda maybe feel sorry for DeLay

Fuck it. I hope to see DeLay OWNED!

2. not to pour rain on your anticipated 'dump on delay',
but did you see Howard Dean last night. Dean was having so much fun w/ Colbert & the audience. It was a joy to watch.

7. Yes, it was good, but Dean has not been a partisan asshole.
And DeLay linked to Colbert's interview on his website.

Of course, when Jon Stewart got George Tenant in the hot seat, John let him live. :-)

3. Oh come on, Colbert has a brilliant way of turning what the neocons say around
and making them look foolish without them even realizing it, the same way he makes the dems look good by being so over the top with his "why do you hate america" stance with them.

I have no doubt in Colbert's abilities to make Delay look like an ass!

4. No one has to "make" The Ham(mer) look like an ass...
...that's his natural appearance.

But Colbert oughta be able to tie him up in some pretty bowknots.

Almost makes me wish we had cable.

wistfully,
Bright

5. Delay must be out of it
Colbert does it so slyingly (and improvisationally or so he says) that you don't even realize what he just did until afterword. He basically made Dinesh D'Souza irrelevant in one 5 minute span-well at least he finished the deal.

8. Update: Colbert got some good digs in undetected
or at least with enough of a delay that DeLay missed the critical time for a response

:-)
