1. Um, is this the Friday John Edwards press release dump?
I don't mind the occasional story on a candidate, but you've just posted five kind of insignificant stories in a row. If I might be so bold as to give a little advice: I don't think this really helps your candidate. It's like getting robo calls--it starts to have a negative effect on people and actually turns them off. If there's actually something interesting to report, or a real story, fine. But 1,500 women support Edwards? (Something tells me Hillary could top that number by a factor of ten, if not a hundred), and he's making a campaign stop? What next? A report on what he ate for breakfast?

This would apply to anyone making similar such story dumps on any candidate. It's insulting to people here who read widely ... and kind of like fingernails on a blackboard, frankly.

Offered in a sincere effort to point out the potential backlash of this kind of thing. Just saying.

3. If nobody's interested, they float away. If people are interested
the marketplace of ideas will crowd them on the front page.

Just a gentle reminder to make your visits to DU more enjoyable :hi:

I'm sure the other candidates are making news too, why not post those articles?

4. Gotta love it! It would be even better if he got out of Salt Lake City.
That would really make headlines.

5. Good for him
Good for him. We do have fifty states and I don't see that any political party gets to own any one of them.
