The "I know more about this than anyone in the room" comment is what really gets to me far more than the "fuck off" comment does. McCain is an idiot, and unless he was alone in that room with Cornyn (which I don't think he was) I can pretty much guarantee he was wrong on that point. His statement was not just an attack on Cornyn it was an attack on everyone who was in the room with him at that time. McCain is incredibly arrogant and this statement proves it.

McCain was showing an incredible amount of arrogance and I am sure Cornyn was not the only one who felt dismissed at the time. If he would have stopped at "fuck you" I would probably be saying McCain finally did something right, but when he tried claiming he knew more about immigration than anyone else he was showing us all just how wrong he was.
