Gingrich warns against "radical secularists"- like the Founding Fathers
Edited on Sat May-19-07 08:22 PM by Phoebe Loosinhouse
since they were the ones who conceived of the separation of Church and State in the first place.

"Radical Secularist" - just roll it around on your tongue and contemplate it's meaning.

I don't think "radical secularists" fight the kind of religious war Newt wants. It's like getting the "anti-athletes " to field a team.

1. Yes those founding fathers really corrupted this nation right from
...the beginning. I can see Gingrich's point we should turn over the United States to the British Monarchy and just get it right this time:sarcasm:

3. I think you're right. This is a trail balloon.
We should ask Newt to expound on "Radical Secularists" at every opportunity. Who are they? Who are their leaders? Are they organized?

4. I'm far more concerned with fascist Theocrats
And the ones setting themselves up as mouthpieces for these terrorist groups. Like Newt Gingrich.

7. Hey Newt ---
Why don't you just skip all the intermediate bullcrap. Declare the Constitution suspended. Declare Fundamentalist "Christianity" as the official state religion of the land. Anyone of any other religion will be rounded up and incarcerated in a Halliburton domestic internment camp, or shipped to Guantanamo --- whichever is closer. Rev up the ovens too. Arbeit macht frei. Newt and the American Talibanate would really get their jollies off on that. We could also bring back public stoning to death for any transgressions against the official state religion. How about Auto-da-fe's and burnings at the stake? I no longer recognize my own country and people like Gingrich make me ashamed to be an American.
