Edited on Sat May-19-07 10:55 PM by jefferson_dem
Hillary now claims 6% of the "netroots". :bounce: And it's "Gravelmania" as he surges to 3%! :bounce:

Not sure if these results ever made it over here. Apologies if this is a dupe.

7. DU polls mirror Daily Kos polls
Edwards just seems to have the most netroots support right now, with or without Kos. Obama is consistently 2nd with everyone else lagging far behind.

21. I meant the polls without Gore
The Kos poll excluded Gore too. If Gore enters he will become the netroots candidate.

24. If KOS has become as you say "an Edwards blog"...
Edited on Mon May-21-07 09:10 PM by larissa

.. then why do the votes come out as

Edwards > 7, 038

All others combined > 10, 658

I mean.. ... somebody had to win their poll.

And because Senator Edwards won, that makes them an "Edwards blog"

I don't drop in there very often, so maybe you're right.. Seems to me though that their votes were pretty well dispersed?

10. I think if Dean had been a different kind of candidate, he could have ridden
his net roots/straw-pole-winning support to the nomination.

So, they could potentially mean a lot more than squat.

This actually could be the election where the way information is shared about candidates over the net could be more important than the way the network news stations present the candidates.

13. Of course, if Dean had been a different sort of candidate
He may have never gotten the net roots support that he did in 2003-04.

15. Since Edwards is getting great netroots support
and is different than Dean...well, I think Dean could have had both the net roots supports and a great candidate.

4. Says more about Kos than about the candidates
Not meant as any slight to any candidate or to Kos. :)

5. Daily Kos
Hi,

Daily Kos seems to have a jump on the news sometimes and some insightful analyses. I'm very new to Democratic Underground. I like the format.

6. We the People welcome you applegreen!
Yep, DU is the best! Very rich information and media environment; and every kind of person you can imagine too. I don't know of another board that does such a good job of the visual logic, especially sub-and sub-sub-...threads within threads.

Enjoy!

:hi:

14. I wasn't knocking Kos
Just pointing out that this poll shows whose supporters read it, more than any national or party preference for any of the candidates.

Hey, welcome to DU! :hi:

16. Welcome to DU...
I think you will like it here, we also have a big jump on the news sometimes. I do check Kos sometimes because they do have some great diaries posted there quite often, but overall I think you will find this site to be the best message board on the net.

I thought Markos would have driven all the Kucinich supporters away by now.

23. Gee, wonder if HRC had
said "oh I'm so sorry for casting my vote to give the president authority" would it really have appeased this dumbass at dailykos. All he wants and I would venture to say many in here would like for her to grovel, but do not hold your breath for her to say she was wrong in that vote.....So get over it and if you cannot support HRC then support someone and when she wins the nomination if you still cannot support here, please do not come in here and spew your hatred for HRC....We have a chance to right the wrongs this president and the damn republicans did to this once great country with the election of HRC. The world is waiting and watching.....
Support the only Democrat that has a chance to win.Hillary Rodham Clinton.
I do thank you...
