Martinez: Immigration bill could save GOP

On CNN's Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer Sunday, Martinez said immigration "could be the saving of the Republican Party, frankly. And to do nothing would be the wrong thing for the American people." Martinez is optimistic that the controversial legislation will make it through Congress, and he is counting on President Bush "to get us over the finish line."

And I did see Martinez on Late Edition this weekend. (Wolf wasn't there.. he was off getting his honorary degree and becoming "Dr. Blitzer" )


But Smelly Melly did a terrible job on that show. He's the head of the Rethug Leadership Council now, so he had to try and report on something positive. When you don't have anything, you just make something up.



The dude did a HORRIBLE job and Republicans should be worried if that's all they can come up with.. They should be VERY worried.. Ol' Mel wasn't the least bit convincing!!!
