"anti-American Democrat" Accusations |
|
Greetings,
I am studying the use of the accusation 'anti-American' in the Internet. I have noticed that the phrase "anti-American Democrat" appears to occur almost solely within the Internet. I have not found any explicit use of it by a elected politician. There are very few indications of its use in books, magazines, and newspaper articles (aside from occasional use in letters to the editor).
I am looking for exceptions to these patterns. Has anyone seen the explicit (not implied) use of the phrase "anti-American Democrat" or "anti-American Democratic" in print media, or by government officials or politicians (on or off the Internet). The phrase appears to be rarely seen in use outside of ordinary individuals within the Internet.

1. Anyone stupid enough to say something like that is balancing on a |

tower of RW bullshit that is self feeding and ultimately nonfactual. Kicking out one of those lies is so damn easy its pathetic. Ultimately (just as Teddy Roosevelt said) it is the patriotism being used as the last refuge of the scoundrels these folks are supporting. To question them is to be labeled "unpatriotic" and not desirable. Ironically, the very values they promote are as unamerican as beerhall borscht.
It assumes lack of support of the troops, not being able to understand the "threat of terrorism" to the USA, and that there is a magical connection between Iraq and the war on terror.

2. Haven't seen expression on these pages. Maybe common on RW sites. |
