Thanks for posting this ProSense; I've been wondering how to respond to the disappointment I feel in what can only be seen as weakness and capitulation.

as the American people VOTED clearly that they expect a change on Iraq.

I'm so disappointed right now that I can see why people walk away from politics. Nutless wonders!

I WILL walk away from politics, but I will NOT walk away from the issues. There's toooooo much at stake.

Just wish they'd hold this president's feet to the fire ~ they're caving and that's a huge mistake!

7. The Blue Dogs are afraid of being blamed for not funding the troops.

I think they should trust us to back them and take the hit with folks who probably aren't real supporters to begin with.

Apparently they think they should not take ownership of Bush's War. They don't want to change it in some way and then have it go even more wrong, so that they are blamed for it. If their issue against doing anything were the possibility of even more soldiers dying, well, more soldiers are going to die anyway, because of staying there longer, so that problem ends up being 6 of one half-a-dozen of the other, so that can't be a reason to avoid doing anything. It must, therefore, be solely about who gets blamed for it.
