I had to turn off Lionel...sorry, can't take it. I wanted to hear something...so I turned on my XM radio to AAR channel 167 where of course we have Big Ed who is not AAR.

I listened a while. The immigration stuff bothers me as he ranted so much about it almost like Lou Dobbs.

I heard Blue Dog Democrat Adam Schiff being interviewed. He was asked if Democrats were backing down about the supplemental including timelines. He said he did not think so.

He expressed no concern about the mess we have there, but then few Dems do that. He did not say anything about our troops in harm's way really. He did make it clear they would be funded. I did not get much sense that he was worried about how many more would die as they keep funding.

I have been mixed on defunding, still am. But I was sort of alarmed at the lack of concern at the increasing casualties on all sides.

I heard we were afraid to be called chicken if we even sounded like we would defund...guess we are.

1. I heard him too - I was astounded when I heard he was a Democrat
He didn't seem at all concerned that the whole misadventure had pretty much turned to a clusterfuck that was sucking up the entire GDP of the country. I think even Schultz was surprised at how complacent he seemed.

No wonder we can't get anything done in congress. With Dems like this who needs republicans to kill progressive governance?

2. This group will not allow the party to do much about Iraq.
They do not care what the majority want. It does not matter to them.

I hear some of the freshmen progressives are fighting back, but not enough of them.

So we stay in Iraq and they keep dying.

"Send in the Clown"...a look at the horrors we did in Fallujah.
