A question for non impeachment people |
|
I'm not trying to start a flame war. I'm just looking for an honest answer.
A hypothetical situation.
In 20 or 30 years, when everyone (and I mean EVERYONE in America) KNOWS AND ACKNOWLEDGES that little monkey boy george bush was a horrible criminal,
and there are movies and books and specific college courses about what a murderous, treasonous son of a bitch he and his administration were....
when one of your young children or grandkids asks you, "why didn't you try to get rid of him. People were dying?"
will you answer, "we didn't have the votes so we did not want to try."

1. WHAT non-impeachment people? |
|
Around here? You're kidding! The only differences I see are on the strategery and timing.

2. the question isn't whether people are for |
|
or against impeachment, it's more a question of getting the votes. I get the basis of your Post and agree, to an extent, but, as much as people try to spin it that way, it really isn't a black or white issue.
What will I say? We had a corporate owned media that had a stranglehold on what people heard and saw, so many were unknowingly uninformed or misinformed. And there were those of us, like myself, who took to the Internet to try and educate people about what was happening. But in a world of have and have-nots, not everyone had the time to surf the net or a computer to surf with.
And was it better to try and fail miserably to Impeach him -- ending with a "wronged" repug party, a martyred victim of partisanship in * and a repug majority that easily finished the job *, et al. started -- because we didn't have the votes or to do what we could to stop him and then enjoy a Democratic majority for several generations that successfully turned back the clock on many of *'s policies, brought accountability and honesty back to the voting process and created a government I could be proud of again.
I'd then look at the young'un from my rocking chair and ask "you tell me".

4. I'm an impeachment hawk. I endorse this message |
|
And after impeachment, I want criminal trials with no option off the table.
(Rhetorical question, NOT to the OP) ---> Where does *your* candidate stand on investigatins continuing or starting anew after he or she takes office as president?
