Can someone explain to me what is the deal with Florida primary? |
|
I was listening on NPR yesterday but really was not clear.
If they keep the primary on Jan. 29, does that mean that none of the votes cast would make a difference? That the FL delegates will not be able to cast their votes during the convention?
Or am I mixing apples and oranges?
Either way, I think that all this date game is shameful. No matter what, many voters will have no say in selecting the presidential candidate. I think that this game is the best justification for rotating regional primaries.

1. Question Everything is Right! |

Look at the Republican candidates out there. All are pathetically flawed in one way or another. That suits George W. just fine as he doesn't want to let his $150 Million war chest leave the family. Enter Jeb Bush. He would do well in Florida. Even better if his brother put him as his VP (citing "health" problems for Cheney) in the next three or four months. Question Everything. Trust no one.
