you mean you're not voting for OBAMA!
You little heart-breaker...
"shot through the heart
and you're to blame...
You give LOVE a bad name!!!"

"Parting is such sweet sorrow?"

Juliet: Good night, good night. Parting is such sweet sorrow, That I shall say good night till it be morrow.
Romeo: My lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand To smooth that rough touch with a gentle kiss.
Narrator: Two households, both alike in dignity / In fair Verona, where we lay our scene / From ancient grudge break to new mutiny / Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean. From forth the fatal loins of these two foes / A pair of star-cross'd lovers take their life / Whose misadventured piteous overthrows / Do with their death bury their parents' strife.
Juliet: Love give me strength.

Romeo: But soft. What light through yonder window breaks?
Juliet: That which we call a rose, by any other name would smell as sweet
Gregory: Do you quarrel , Sir?
Abraham: Quarrel, Sir? No, Sir.
Mercutio: A plague on both your houses. They've made worm's meat of me.

Romeo: Thus with a kiss I die.
Juliet: Yea noise. Then Ill be brief.
Oh, happy dagger, this is thy sheath;
there rust and let me die.

Narrator: A glooming peace this morning with it brings.
The sun for sorrow will not show his head. For never was
a story of more woe Than this of Juliet and her Romeo.

26. I like the expanded campaign season, myself.
It gets more people interested earlier, gives more chances to participate, and gives everyone more time to watch the candidates in action and vet them.

6. Too early? Anybody know who was endorsing whom in May of 2003?
I think those who want Gore (I'd love to see him run, but don't think he will) seem to be able to grasp as the slightest thing as a sign he might run. Until he is running, he is not running (ooo, how profound!).

24. For somebody who isn't running, he sure is running a smart campaign.
Without declaring he is coming in third in many polls and he has people talking about him. I can't wait to see him tonight on The Daily Show.

Folks like Steve Jobs at Apple and a host more in Silicon Valley want Gore to run. I think it may happen.

11. Because they are waiting to endorse the dem nominee so they don't look foolish?
Just like the dems endorsed Ned Lamont over LIEberman when he won the democratic nomination.

14. At this point, I'm on BOTH knees......
praying for Al Gore!

Considering who's running; one woman Clinton, one young Black newness, One chubby Latino, and One southern white male chameleon--(plus a couple of old senator fossils and one truth talking Elf Rep)....Please dear AL Gore, Please, please, please run! YOu will definitely pump up the odds for the Dems to take this!

Pretty Please?

While I don't hold the same opinon of the other candidates that you do, FrenchieCat, I would gladly get on both of my knees, too (and that would be something!) and do it for the team if it would help.

16. Or perhaps because this campaign season has begun obscenely early?
The "taking a stand" on a candidate (ie endorsement) is six months or more earlier than any other primary? This is *far* too early to endrorse a candidate imo. It has nothing to do with the qualifications of current candidates.

I would love Gore to run (and I doubt that he will - but would be behind him like glue) - but I do not think this is the reason folks haven't endorsed. This idea of knocking every person out of the race based on fundraising - a year before some states vote - is not healthy, imo, for a democratic system.

i'm one of those who knows Gore isn't going to run.

but in this case i hope i'm wrong and would have no problem with people like yourself telling me "i told you so" if Gore gets in.

19. Kerry spoke of the possibility of endorsing someone
He was saying, several weeks ago, at one of the book events that no one in the current field has both a good environmental plan AND a track record. Now, all will get good plans, but how do you get a track record if you don't have one. Al Gore would fit that category.

He has also said that it was too early.
