Tuesday, May 22, 2007

----
Summit, New Jersey – As Senator John Edwards visits New Jersey today to tour a stem cell research facility with former New Jersey governor and New Jersey state Senate President Richard Codey, he received the support of several prominent New Jersey leaders.

"John Edwards has detailed plans to build a better America -- plans to guarantee universal health care, end poverty in America, fight global warming and end the war in Iraq. I am proud to support his candidacy and work with him to improve the lives of all Americans."

2. I think having DFA leaders and community leaders on your side is pretty important

3. I know....you are right!
Which one is the DFA organizer?

Sorry about my snark. It's just that these posts of yours have gotten kind of humorous. New Jersey has probably not less than about 1,500 prominent names one could put up....more if one start listing "formers".....but I realize that every little bit helps. And know that in my hearts of hearts, that Edwards is "working it" all over (labor, Anti-war, anti-corporatists, netroots, women, poor folks).....he's good at that!

Believe me, I have no doubt that by default, John Edwards is a very strong candidate this time, and I wouldn't be surprised one bit if he ends up with the big prize. When one looks at his competition on the Dem side, he's the only "conventional" presidential candidate (Good looking White Guy from the South), which will give him the edge in the voting booth as we will continue to hear how "electable" he is, and how "iffy" the others would be for the General Election.

It's working for him, and there's nothing wrong with that!

4. I'm starting to think...maybe even hope....
that Edwards can actually pull this off. Although, I would love to see President Gore jump in & claim his rightful place. I think I may have initially fallen for the MSM's preferred lineup, and wasn't giving Edwards enough credit.

Go John!
