What really happens when you call Pelosi's office and get transferred to the "comment" recording? |
|
Does anyone know? Are the messages transcribed, listened to by a staffer, or just deleted without being listened to?
Sometimes when I call, the person answering the phone takes my call and at other times, I am transferred to leave a message, after they ask what state I'm calling from. Since I call the Speakers office in D.C., and not the Representatives office in California, I would expect to be treated as a constituent, as Speaker Pelosi does represent me as Speaker.
Anyone know what the procedure is? I don't want to keep calling and leaving messages if they are just ignored.

Forget the notion of being treated as a constituent until you've given at least $2K.
What evidence you say? The collapse on Iraq war funding wouldn't have happened if they gave a damn about what a 2/3's majority of Americans wanted.
