Has anyone asked themselves why Kerry would cheat on a 800 mil Heiress
Edited on Fri Feb-13-04 01:31 PM by demdem
I mean she is pretty and rich, why cheat? That's why I find this whole thing Bizarre and don't buy it. First she was an intern now she is a AP reporter. Then there were supposed to be many main stream papers looking into it, now we find out that is not all true. Some say Clark leaked it, then Clark endorses Kerry. Hmmmmm

2. It's a guy thing.
Despite $550M or $800M and all the ketchup his heart could desire...sometimes, a guy needs a little mustard, now can you dig that? ;)

Later.

14. definitely
Men screw up. But some do it intentionally. Especially men with power, they seem to really be those who indulge in conquest.

3. Well, no I never asked myself that
Edited on Fri Feb-13-04 01:32 PM by LibertyChick
Lol. People who cheat do so for myriad reasons.

Number one, I don't really care if he did. People playing that up and acting so happy about it because now they feel they finally have a weapon against the frontrunner, when their own candidate may be sinking into obscurity, look as bad as Repukes and Clinton's Allmighty Penis.

Two, I doubt the veracity of this story. Only on DU would some feel thrilled by a Drudge story. Pretty weird. In the past, Drudge was persona non grata.

Guess it depends on whom you support?

4. because she's his wife. because she's 'old'.
why did Eric Benet cheat on Halle Berry ?
why did Hank Azaria cheat on Helen Hunt ?

because they can.

pick a reason.

most men can come up with a zillion excuses why the woman they're with is 'a bitch who doesn't understand me', regardless of what the rest of the world thinks of her ...

(in fairness to gender relations, women use the same excuses to cheat, too)

:hippie:

5. I don't know about you
If i was married to someone who was worth half of what THK is, I wouldn't cheat on her, and I'm a college student, not a sitting US senator past his prime. You would have to dangle quite a lot to even get me to look at another woman.

staying with someone over money is worse than cheating.

7. Maybe because it is not "cheating"?
Maybe they're both engaging in the normal behavior of nearly everyone who has that kind of wealth?

(Not to mention something like the normal behavior of every class but the imagined middle?)

WHY DOES ANYONE CARE?!

13. Why does anyone act like ***holes?
Why would Gary Hary challlenge the press to follow him around when he's shtooping a blonde model on the side?

People do stupid things. I'm not saying that's happened here, but never allow yourself to be surprised by the stupidity of human behavior.

16. I question anything on Drudge
until a mainstream paper reports it. He cites a bunch of tv stations that reported his report. But that isn't good enough. Sounds like sleaze until I get corrobration. I agree with the Clark line... supposedly he said that an intern rumor would blow up on Kerry soon... Then why did he drop out and endorse him?

nor, and more important, is it any of my or anybody elses business.
if you are a consenting adult getting busy with another consenting adult -- i need to mind my own business -- unless i was invited personally to watch.

I'm a single guy, but I cannot imagine being married because most guys would ALWAYS rather get some 23 year old booty than a woman in her 40's, much less 50's.

We're mammals, sorry.

Sorry, low blow. Couldn't resist.

Why are we allowing ourselves to get pulled into these meaningless "sex scandals"? We need to focus on what's important. THE ISSUES! THE DISHONESTY OF THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION THAT AFFECTS US ALL!

I don't give a rip about Kerry's sex life. Nor Kucinich's for that matter.

These distractions are coming to keep us from attacking on the AWOL issue. The no WMD issue. Etc... etc... etc... Let's not fall for this crap.

27. Why did Charles cheat on Diana with Camilla ......
There is no explainable reason for it. Just because you are young, rich or beautiful does not make you exempt from the same maladies the rest of the population endures. IF the stories are true, it seems Kerry has a penchant for young, beautiful blondes, but so does 90% of the male population in this country. The difference will be, did he act on an attraction. We'll see.

32. Opportunity? Proximity? A couple of drinkeepoos?
You can't seriously think that men are in control of their penises?

Ask Bill Clinton, for pete's sake.

We all know guys who have thrown away wonderful relationships because they couldn't keep their zippers closed.

Rich? Anyone remember what was supposed to be the cause of death when Nelson Rockefeller bought it?
