Day to Day, May 23, 2007 · President Bush's speech to the Coast Guard Academy on Wednesday addresses intelligence documents on al-Qaida. The White House says the documents show that Osama Bin Laden sought a greater al-Qaida presence in Iraq.

2. just before the war they had a chance to destroy

the area where the al-qaida had an established a base in iraq. bush refused to attack it because it might question the reason to attack saddam. of course that made no sense at the time and still does`t..
